Cotton matrix becomes ‘Roads’ warrior

News | July 1, 2008 | By:

Better Roads magazine recognized HydraCX2® Cotton Fiber Reinforced Matrix, a hydraulically applied erosion-control product, as one of its Top Rollouts. The cotton hydromulch products were developed by North American Green, Evansville, Ill., from cotton-ginning byproducts. “Cotton by nature is porous, absorbent and biodegradable – an excellent trio for controlling erosion and establishing seed,” says Tim Lancaster, president of North American Green.

Developed in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Cotton Inc., a research and marketing company representing cotton growers, HydraCX2 is 100% natural, nontoxic, adds key nutrients to soil and requires less water during application.
