Phifer sustainable window shade fabrics

News | December 1, 2013 | By:

Phifer unveils a third option in its eco-friendly SheerWeave Infinity2 range of 100-percent recyclable, PVC- and lead-free window shade fabrics.

This new 1 percent open, full basketweave fabric joins 3 and 5 percent options in the sustainable Infinity2 window treatment line. Emulating the look and engineering of standard SheerWeave fabrics, Infinity2’s yarn coating is developed from the same compound family as its core yarn, the only core yarn—synthetic or natural—that is born out of post-industrial waste by-product.

Through production advancements, Infinity2 offers a thinner, more lightweight fabric over its predecessor, SheerWeave Infinity, for an overall improved look and easier fabrication.

Infinity2 also provides the same solar heat and glare control properties as traditional SheerWeave interior sun control fabrics to help conserve energy, harness natural light and maintain interior comfort levels. This fabric is available in nine neutral colors to easily coordinate with any décor and 63- and 98-inch width options.

Infinity2 is certified to GREENGUARD standards for low chemical emissions into indoor air during product usage.
