Polyfab USA LLC has appointed Tunali Tec S. de R.L. de C.V. a stocking distributor of the Polyfab lines of extra heavy duty fire rated knitted HDPE shadecloth, shade sail hardware, and shade sail edge webbing.
Tunali Tec is a Mexican company specializing in the distribution of hardware, textiles and accessories for the manufacture of sunscreens, awnings, textile architecture, marine applications and the decorative market. The company has sales offices in Cuernavaca, Guadalajara, Cancun and Mexico City, and is a partner company to Glen Raven Mills and Trivantage LLC in the U.S., a national distributor of the Polyfab line of products.
All Polyfab fabric is 100 percent recyclable and lead and phthalate free.
Polytex® is a 7 oz.-per-square-yard fire-rated knitted HDPE shade fabric designed for use in modular shade structures and shade sails. It’s recommended for residential and small commercial installations with unsupported spans of 25 ft. or less. Available in 19 colors.
Comtex® is a 10 oz.-per-square-yard fire-rated knitted HDPE shade fabric designed for large tension membrane structures and architectural shade sails. It’s recommended for larger commercial installations with unsupported spans of up to 100 feet. Available in 17 colors.
Architec 400® is a 12 oz.-per-square-yard extra-heavy-duty knitted HDPE shade fabric designed for larger tension membrane structures and architectural shade sails. Shades using this fabric should be well designed and engineered to hold the fabric under the tension it deserves. Available in 12 colors.
