News | May 1, 2014 | By:

The Fabric Structures Association, a division of the Industrial Fabrics Association International, recently published two informative white papers for the fabric structures industry. Please feel free to share these documents with architects, engineers, code officials and others related to the industry.

These documents are:

  • Frame Supported Fabric Structure Designation— talks about how FSA has established the designation of “engineered frame supported fabric structure” that is intended to identify frame supported fabric covered structures that are specifically designed to meet building code requirements for permanent structures and meet certain minimum design criteria.
  • What You Should Know About Frame Supported Fabric Structures— gives an overview of fabric structures, as well as discusses the best practices involved in the design and construction of frame supported fabric structures.
