Fabric Structures Association to present architect education sessions at IFAI Specialty Fabrics Expo

Join IFAI at the Minneapolis Convention Center, October 14-16, 2014, and experience the future at IFAI Specialty Fabrics Expo and Advanced Textiles Expo. Education session designed for architects will be presented by the Fabric Structures Association, a division of the Industrial Fabrics Association International.

Partnering with Architects, Panel
Wednesday, Oct. 15, 1–2 p.m.
Learn how to increase your outreach to architects and build partnerships for increased exposure of your work and the possibilities for fabric structures.

Japan Roundtable
Wednesday, Oct. 15, 3–4 p.m.
The Fabric Structures Association is hosting a Japan Roundtable conversation, where members from Japan will discuss how fabric structures are created and utilized in Japan.

Incorporating Fabric into Design, Architect Education
Wednesday, Oct. 15, 5–8 p.m.
Delve into real life projects and learn proper fabric selection, design considerations and the next steps to designing a fabric structure. Continue the discussion with your peers, while viewing a unique materials display and enjoying drinks and hors ’oeuvres to kick off the session. Note: this is a repeat of the Incorporating Fabric into Design panel that was presented at the 2013 Specialty Fabrics Expo.
