Herculite acquires Strataglass

Emigsville, Pa.-based Herculite Products Inc. has acquired Strataglass LLC, based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The agreement was announced May 8.

The acquisition continues Herculite’s efforts to be a total solution provider in each of the markets it serves. “We are excited about the addition of the iconic Strataglass family of custom engineered solutions to Herculite’s wide range of industry leading brands,” Herculite President Peter McKernan said in a press release.

Herculite produces high-performance awning and marine fabrics; Strataglass makes coated press polished clear vinyl sheets that are engineered to be scratch resistant, durable and to block out nearly 100 percent of the spectrum of harmful UV light.
