Parà S.p.a. of Milan, Italy, and its U.S. based Tempotest USA subsidiary announced a strategic alliance with The Miami Corp. of Cincinnati, Ohio. The agreement became effective July 1, 2016.
Parà, the producer of Tempotest® brand performance fabrics, has partnered with The Miami Corp. to be its exclusive distributor in the U.S. for its high-performance line of fabrics for awning and marine applications.
Parà, a company founded in 1921 and involved in the production and development of solution-dyed fabrics since 1964, is a vertically integrated textile company operating four manufacturing facilities all located in Italy along with corporate headquarters in Milan, Italy.
The Miami Corp., an employee owned company founded in 1923, is a distributor of automotive, awning and marine interior and exterior trim products for both OEM and aftermarket companies. Miami Corp. is based in Cincinnati, Ohio, with an office and distribution centers in Albany, N.Y., Grand Prairie, Texas, and Jacksonville, Fla.
Tempotest USA will continue to distribute Tempotest Home® fabrics for outdoor and indoor decorative use and support this market from its facility in Carrollton, Texas.
