Joint conference to examine sustainable architectural and structural design

A joint conference, titled “New Materials and Technologies, New Designs and Innovations,” will be held by the International Association of Shell & Spatial Structures (IASS) and Simposio Latinoamericano de Tenso-Estructuras (SLTE), will examine a sustainable approach to architectural and structural design.

Sessions topics include architecture, theory & history, conceptual design, new design processes, new materials, new technologies, engineering, sustainability, and newly built structures. The conference will take place in Acapulco, Mexico, from Oct. 27-31.
