Designers awarded for work on Arizona Cardinals Stadium

The Arizona Cardinals Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., has recently picked up two awards for its designers. The Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD) awarded Pentagram Design, New York, N.Y., an Honor Award for its signage graphics (which includes fabric awnings and banners), and Walter P. Moore won the 2007 Engineering Excellence Award from the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), for its structural engineering services for the stadium. The stadium features a fabric-clad retractable roof installed by Birdair Inc.
The Cardinals Stadium was featured in the July/August 2006 issue of FA.
