Cooley Group, a global developer and manufacturer of high-performance, sustainable-engineered membranes, has completed certification as an ISO 9001:2008-compliant organization. The certification is an International Quality Standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a worldwide federation of national standards bodies representing over 120 countries.

“Our company has an 85-year history of proven performance, and we are now pleased to provide our customers with an added standard of quality,” said Dan Dwight, Cooley Group president and CEO. “ISO Certification is further proof of Cooley’s commitment to the highest manufacturing standards as we expand globally.”

The ISO 9001:2008 standard provides a true and tested systematic framework for managing a company’s manufacturing processes. It identifies the steps that result in consistent performance and operational efficiency. The most important goal of ISO certification is continuous improvement through the use of internal and external audits and process documentation.
