This project, which won an Outstanding Achievement Award in the interior banners category of the 2008 International Achievement Awards, included 79 colorful aquatic shapes (fish, seaweed, water spouts, wave currents, etc.) that were hung from the ceiling of the Schaumburg municipal water park, Schaumburg Water Works , Schaumburg, Ill. Figures were to be shaped using welded aluminum frames pillowcased in fabric. Each of the 79 aquatic structures was fabricated with 1 inch cold-drawn aluminum, and had to break down to fit through a 1.5m-by-2m entryway. This included eight 14m-long wave currents and two 10.2m-in-diameter water spouts. Each of the 79 shapes had to be hung from the ceiling over swimming pools with cables attached at over 230 pick points.
