Notes:
- Above allowable tensile loads are based on Ft=26-1.8fv≤20, where Ft is the allowable tensile stress, fv is the actual shear stress.
- Fu, the ultimate strength of the fastener, is assumed to be 40 k.s.i.
- The fastener is assumed to be loaded in shear to 0.1875 Fu=7.5 k.s.i.
