Phifer partners with World Vision

News | September 25, 2014 | By:

Phifer Inc. a manufacturer of energy-saving sun control fabrics, insect screen, drawn wire, engineered meshes and indoor/outdoor performance furniture fabrics, continues its partnership with World Vision, a global humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and communities in need.

Phifer donated a significant amount of fabrics to the World Vision organization during its 10-year partnership. World Vision distributes the fabric throughout the world, providing immediate and long-term aid.

“Phifer was founded in 1952 on the core values of giving back and helping others, and our donations are in keeping with the company’s commitment and beliefs since the beginning, said Gregg Terry, Phifer’s director of sales development. “We are thrilled to be able to help children and families through the donations to World Vision.”

From sleeping cots and hammocks to dividing walls in family homes, Phifer fabric has been used in numerous applications. Additional applications include the fabric’s use as “canvas” for school children’s art activities and on windows for insect and sun protection.
