Solar Ivy customizable system

News | November 1, 2010 | By:

Solar Ivy is a customizable system for sustainable energy generation inspired by the form and look of ivy growing on the exterior of a building. Flexible photovoltaic “leaves” flutter and shift with the wind while converting solar energy into electricity that feeds into a grid tie inverter, or charges batteries for off-grid storage. Its unique visual appeal and flexibility brings a technology traditionally restricted to the roof to almost any architectural surface.

Solar Ivy is available with different color substrates to suite taste and can be applied in varying densities to modulate heat gain and views.
