Sattler Corp. reorganizes staff

The North American arm of global performance fabric manufacturer Sattler AG reorganized its Sattler Corp. marketing team effective Feb. 1, 2014.

Jeff Jimison, the VP sales marine, has left the organization to pursue other interests.

Steve Weiss, current VP sales awning, will be responsible for the marine product category and sales team. His new title is VP awning/marine sales, with a clear objective to expand market shares for the company’s awning and marine products within the U.S. and Canadian markets.

According to Jon Murphy, Sattler Corp. SVP sales & marketing, “This new structure will allow the North American organization to better leverage the synergies that exist between our awning and marine businesses and to better respond to new inquires for our products within the Americas.”

Sattler AG, headquartered in Graz Austria, is a fifth generation, family owned company with a 125-year history in the solution-dyed acrylic fabric market. The company specializes in manufacturing and marketing fabrics for awning, marine, transportation and industrial applications throughout the world.
