Serge Ferrari announces new general manager for North America

Serge Ferrari announced the promotion of Ilse Beterams to general manager of Serge Ferrari North America. As general manager, Beterams will oversee all aspects of Serge Ferrari operations in the United States and Canada, including sales, finance, marketing, shipping and inventory management. She replaces Teresa Valdes who has left to pursue other career opportunities.

Beterams has been with Serge Ferrari for 23 years, most recently as sales manager for Northern Europe, managing sales teams in Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. During her tenure, Serge Ferrari sales in Europe have grown steadily. She has worked directly with architects and engineers on many large projects, including the 2012 Olympic Games in London where most of the new construction included Serge Ferrari composite materials. Beterams is highly experienced with all aspects of the composite material sales process, including customer support, new market development and new product launches.

Beterams will report to Marc Beaufils, general manager international and marketing. Serge Ferrari North America national sales manager Steve Fredrickson will report to Beterams.

Serge Ferrari is a manufacturer of flexible composite membranes used globally for the marine, solar protection, architectural, building, modular structure, sport, military and furniture markets.
