Kohler Awning expands

Kohler Awning is building a 12,000-square-foot addition to its 38,000-square-foot Cheektowaga, N.Y., facility. The expansion will provide the residential and commercial fabric awning manufacturer with more space for production, welding and storage. It will also result in the hire of an additional fabric installer. Currently, Kohler has 53 employees. The Erie County Industrial Development Agency approved more than $107,000 in tax breaks for the expansion.
