Britespan Building Systems achieves CE Marking

News | October 27, 2016 | By:

According to a company press release, Britespan Building Systems Inc. has become the first and only fabric building manufacturer in North America to have achieved the CE Marking, indicating excellence in product quality control processes and permitting sale in Europe. The CE Marking of fabricated structural steelwork is also known as BS EN 1090.

Achieving the CE Marking permits Britespan to sell its products in any country of the European Union. “Having the CE Marking helps us assure current and prospective Authorized Dealers, as well as customers, that Britespan is capable of meeting all European building code requirements,” says Ben Hogervorst, Britespan president.

Britespan’s robust expansion into Europe sets the company apart as a truly world class manufacturer of quality steel framed fabric buildings. This expansion also ensures long term employment for existing staff, and presents new job opportunities for the local community.

The process of achieving the CE Marking is thorough and detailed, and brings the company one step closer to obtaining any other quality assurance certifications and requirements necessary to serve customers across the globe.
