The W.S. Tyler Architectural Group will host a complimentary hour-long webinar on Oct. 30 at 2:00 p.m. ET. “Designing Facades for Parking Facilities: Where Beauty, Safety and Security Merge” will cover best practices for designing facades for multi-story parking garages.

The webinar features a panel of industry experts including Wendy DeCapite, sales manager of architectural products for W.S. Tyler, Marcy Marro, editor of Metal Architecture and Metal Construction News; John Creach, architect with Elliott + Associates Architects; and Stephen Rebora R.A., president of Desman Associates. The panel will examine how products such as mesh can meet functional and aesthetic challenges.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, it is estimated there are more than 105 million commercial parking spaces in the United States. Cities are growing more crowded and businesses are moving into the suburbs, leading to a higher demand for parking garages. In addition to introducing the audience to products that can help create a desirable aesthetic, the webinar will offer information on safety and security considerations essential to the successful design and construction of a parking structure.

With more than a century of experience manufacturing, engineering, designing and fabricating woven wire mesh, W.S. Tyler delivers the most comprehensive range of metal fabrics to the parking industry. In working closely with industry experts, W.S. Tyler is able to offer solutions that provide natural ventilation, weather protection, fall protection and sun control. Additionally, stainless steel metal mesh is a cost-effective, low maintenance product that produces an elegant and unique aesthetic.
