HB Sheet, co-developed by Fujimori Kogyo Co. Ltd. and SHO-BOND Corp., is a special laminated textile sheet containing triaxially-woven vinylon mesh. It can be attached to a concrete surface to prevent spalling, as with reinforced concrete structures, and is effective in preventing deterioration of concrete surfaces from salt damage and carbonation. HB Sheet can be reinforced by attaching new reinforcements over the original sheet. It is especially effective when used on overpasses or bridges because it reduces the time needed for traffic regulation by up to half compared to conventional methods.
