Banker Wire unveils architectural Circle Mesh

News | September 1, 2013 | By:

After more than a year of development, Banker Wire has created the first-ever woven metal fabric with circular patterns. Circle Mesh applies the durability, versatility and aesthetic appeal of architectural mesh to new circular weaves.

According to Banker Wire, Circle Mesh surpasses circle patterns created by perforated metal, delivering industry-leading quality, sustainability and visual characteristics in an entirely new design. The weaving process of architectural mesh produces very little scrap, compared to the process of perforating metal.

Circle Mesh is woven with the same wire as traditional architectural mesh, but is instead crimped by a spiral machine around a fixed point. The fixed point is adjustable, allowing for different sizes and therefore different percentages of open area. The finished wires are then woven together by a loom operator, creating the final pattern.

Banker Wire is a manufacturer of woven and welded wire mesh for architectural and industrial applications. The company provides custom-weaved material for any aesthetic on any scale – from intricate design highlights to expansive building facades. Call 800 523 6772 or visit www.bankerwire.com.
