From Laser Product Industries is the LT-2D3D, a digital device for patterning and templating in the industrial fabric industry. The on-board CAD software can be edited in the field or exported as a 3D wireframe to the company’s flattening software, which creates 2D patterns for cutting or plotting complex jobs such as awnings, structures, boat dodgers and enclosures and trailer covers. An available plotter marks directly onto fabric, resulting in fewer wasted consumables.
