J. Ennis relaunches Ennis 1974 fabric

News | April 1, 2016 | By:

Ennis 1974 is a PVC-coated polyester with a PVDF/acrylic finish—a choice material for awnings, tents, canopies, gazebos, inflatable structures, and light frame-supported structures.

The material undergoes a lacquering treatment (Rotofluo W) of surface coatings to protect and insulate the PVC layer. Treated with a thin acrylic/fluorinated PVDF blend on one side and an acrylic lacquer coating on the other, Ennis 1974 provides thermal insulation, sound proofing, chemical aging resistance, fire resistance, UV and gamma radiation stability, and exceptional properties in tension and deflection.

It meets F.R.: NFPA 701; CAN/ULC S109; ITALY: CLASS 2; FRANCE: M2; GERMANY: DIN 4102 B1; SCANDINAVIA: SIS 650082; EUROPA: B S1 D0; USA: CSFM. It’s available in 18 colors.
