Polyfab USA is now an American-owned company

News | May 1, 2016 | By:

Barry Jamieson, director of Polyfab Australia, announced that its Polyfab USA division has been sold to the American management of that division. Jamieson, one of the originators of developing heavy-duty knitted HDPE shadecloth for the protection of people from the damaging rays of the sun more than 25 years ago, established the American division in 2008 (previously their fabric was sold through a local distributor). The new ownership has more than 35 years of U.S. industry experience.

“We’ve seen tremendous growth since 2008,” said Steve Morenberg, new managing director of Polyfab USA LLC. “By focusing solely on the Americas, we think we can tap into that growth and be even more reflective of the trends and preferences of customers in North and South America. These regional preferences include things like colors, and FR ratings, such as NFPA-701. There is an increase of awareness in this hemisphere for the benefits of shade sails and structures, and the customer who wants to protect her family and property with a quality shade fabric will appreciate the fact that the materials are coming from an American company.”

Polyfab USA enjoys a network of highly professional distributors in the USA, Canada and Mexico, and will be expanding into other markets with its range of fabrics, hardware, trimmings and cleaners for shade sails and shade structures.
