Scott Filipiak been named creative director at Rainier Industries, Tukwila, Wash. Rainier has added complete design services to its scope of capabilities, including print, metal, fabric and wood fabrication.
Filipiak has an extensive graphic design and fine arts background with experience that includes working with clients on everything from small advertising campaigns to large scale corporate projects, digital collateral, point of sale displays, store windows, wayfinding, packaging, merchandise and even redesigning retail stores from the ground up.
With this new pairing, Rainier now offers turnkey visual services from concept to completion. Filipiak and his team can make recommendations for an existing design or lead the entire design process to best utilize Rainier’s fabrication capabilities and meet client needs.
Founded in 1896, Rainier Industries began providing tents and supplies to prospectors in the Alaskan Gold Rush. Today, it has evolved into a diverse manufacturer of a variety of products including yurts, tents, awning and screen systems, industrial fabric products as well as sports, retail and trade show graphics to regional, national and Fortune 500 companies.
