Craig Briggs of Vertilux earns LEED credentialing

Craig Briggs, a senior director at Vertilux Ltd., has earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) credential from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).

Vertilux, headquartered in Miami, Fla., seeks to be a trend setter in the solar shade protection industry, creating, educating, developing, and advising professionals and companies on a global scale. LEED credentialed professionals focus on how projects can save energy, use fewer resources, reduce pollution and contribute to healthier environments for their occupants and the community. LEED Green Associates must earn 15 hours of continuing education hours within two years of earning the credential.

The USBC is an organization that independently recognizes excellence in green business industry performance and practice globally. Its credentialing program uses rigorous test development and best practices and requires ongoing maintenance to encourage credentialed professionals to participate in learning experiences that demonstrate continued competency and up-to-date industry knowledge.
